The Work
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Website Design, Development & Brand Identity
For Afghan Care, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting refugees and underserved families in Alameda County, I designed and developed a modern, accessible web platform built to engage and inform. The goal was to create a warm, dignified online home that effectively communicates their vital services, ranging from food programs to vocational guidance, while offering intuitive navigation for community members seeking support. Built with a clean layout and responsive design, the platform bridges the gap between donors, volunteers, and the families who rely on Afghan Care’s mission.
Brand Identity & Logo Design
The logo design for Afghan Care balances heritage, compassion, and unity. The visual identity centers on an emblem incorporating a sparrow, a deeply meaningful cultural symbol representing resilience, hope, and community connection. The mark seamlessly integrates this imagery with soft, supportive forms inspired by traditional Afghan motifs. Crisp typography ensures high legibility across digital and print applications while maintaining an approachable feel, establishing a versatile visual anchor that honors the organization’s roots across all communication materials.
